On 20 June 2025, the Port System Authority of Western Sicily organised the second InfoDay in Palermo to illustrate the opportunities that the ForteMare project will be able to offer women and men, young and old, associations and businesses in the area engaged in the creation of services for physical and cultural accessibility in the sphere of sustainable tourism, also with the aid of innovative technologies. During the day, a walk was organised between the Archaeological Park of the Castello a Mare and the Cala, led by Prof. Emanuela Garofalo, lecturer in History of Architecture (Darch, UNIPA) and by the archaeologists Elena Pezzini and Maria Lucia Ferruzza of the ‘A. Salinas’ Regional Museum in Palermo, for archaeological information. The walk involved disabled associations, schools, universities, tourism associations, companies interested in sustainable transport, and companies involved in digital communication.
